Erin Brockovich calls on Irish Water to publish toxin levels

An off duty garda was struck by car in the Dundrum Town Centre on
Sunday evening.

The garda officer was attempting to help security staff who were
trying to apprehend the occupant of the car.

They were observing the car which was allegedly used in a earlier
theft in the area and tried to stop it.

As the vehicle drove away the officer was dragged some distance.

He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he was treated for minor
injuries to his foot, he was later discharged

According to a garda press statement the car was found later in the
evening in Tallaght

Before the Dundrum incident two men were arrested on conspiracy to
commit a serious crime and appeared before Dun Laoghaire District
Court.
