Coronavirus Ireland: Locations of 121 new confirmed cases including tragic fourth deaths

Government has asked the Chief Medical Officer for further advice about social distancing.

Yesterday evening The Department of Health announced that a fourth person had died after contracting coronavirus with 121 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland

The victim was was male and died  in the east of the country

There are now a total number of cases to 906 in the Republic of Ireland with a continued spike of cases in the east of the country.

Presently the wait time for a Covid-19 test is about five days.

The HSE says about 40,000 people are waiting to be swabbed.
