Yesterday evening The Department of Health announced that a fourth person had died after contracting coronavirus with 121 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland
The victim was was male and died in the east of the country
There are now a total number of cases to 906 in the Republic of Ireland with a continued spike of cases in the east of the country.
Presently the wait time for a Covid-19 test is about five days.
The HSE says about 40,000 people are waiting to be swabbed.
